What is Transport WiFi?
Transport WiFi helps transport operators provide controlled Internet access for passengers, visitors and staff across buses, trains, airports, stations, terminals and transport hubs.
Antamedia WiFi Hotspot can manage captive portal login, access rules, bandwidth limits, vouchers, passenger information, surveys, analytics and consent-based communication from one platform.

Transport WiFi
Transport operators need passenger WiFi that is reliable, controlled and easy to manage across vehicles, stations, terminals and waiting areas.
Antamedia Transport WiFi helps bus operators, railway operators, airports, transport hubs and managed WiFi providers create branded captive portals, apply access rules, control bandwidth, collect feedback and review usage from the dashboard.
The platform can support passenger Internet access, service announcements, travel information, surveys, sponsored access, vouchers, premium plans and location-based guest communication.

Bus WiFi for Passenger Access

Bus operators can provide controlled WiFi access for passengers across individual buses, routes, depots or branded vehicle groups.
Each bus or route can use its own splash page, access rules, bandwidth limits, welcome page, survey or redirect destination. Operators can display travel information, service announcements, route updates, offers or sponsored messages where appropriate.
Reports can show usage, sessions, campaign activity and location-based performance, helping operators understand passenger WiFi activity across routes and vehicles.
Airport WiFi for Terminals and Lounges
Airports can provide passenger WiFi across terminals, gates, arrivals, departures, lounges, shops and waiting areas.
Different areas can use different splash pages, access rules, bandwidth limits, surveys, announcements, sponsored access or redirect flows. For example, departures can show travel information and offers, arrivals can redirect passengers to transport or city information, and lounges can provide premium access with higher speeds.
Airport WiFi reports can help administrators review usage, sessions, login methods, survey responses and campaign activity across different zones.

Transport WiFi Features
Train WiFi for Routes, Lines and Cars
Train operators can manage passenger WiFi across routes, lines, trains or individual cars.
Each route or train group can use specific splash pages, access rules, passenger information, surveys, offers or sponsored messages. Operators can apply bandwidth limits, session rules and access policies to help keep WiFi usage fair during travel.
Survey and feedback options can help operators understand passenger satisfaction, WiFi quality, service issues and route-specific needs.

How Transport WiFi Works

When a passenger connects to the transport WiFi network, WiFi Hotspot redirects the device to a branded captive portal page.
The passenger can log in through a configured access method, such as free access, voucher code, access code, email login, OTP, paid plan or another approved login flow
After login, the platform applies configured access rules, including speed limits, session duration, bandwidth quota and device limits.
The passenger can then be redirected to a transport website, travel information page, Digital Guide, survey, offer page, service page or another selected online resource. Administrators can review usage, sessions, campaign activity and reports from the dashboard.
Connect Transport WiFi with Engage
Consent-based contact data, survey answers and campaign activity collected through Transport WiFi can be organized in Antamedia Engage.
Transport operators can use Engage to segment contacts, send service updates, follow up on feedback and manage approved communication with passengers or visitors.
Connect Transport WiFi with Digital Guide
After WiFi login, passengers can be redirected to Antamedia Digital Guide to access travel information, destination guides, schedules, offers, local services, terminal information, maps or venue resources.
This is useful for airports, bus terminals, train stations, ferries, tourist routes and transport hubs that want to combine WiFi access with passenger information.
WiFi Tickets App

WiFi Tickets App helps staff create and print WiFi access tickets for passengers, visitors and temporary users.
The app can create voucher tickets, username/password tickets, multi-device access or reprint the last ticket when needed. It is useful for airports, transport hubs, bus stations, train stations, kiosks, reception desks and distributed sales points.
Where document scanning is supported and legally permitted, staff can use it to speed up personalized ticket creation. Operators should configure data collection and retention according to their privacy and security requirements.

Passenger Information and Travel Updates
Transport WiFi can display travel information before or after login, including route updates, station information, airport services, terminal guidance, safety notices, transport schedules, local information or event messages.
This turns the WiFi login flow into a useful passenger information point instead of only an Internet access screen.
